Youth-a-thon – Let’s Celebrate!

For many of us, World Ocean Day is a day to celebrate and take action to protect our shared blue planet with our fellow ocean advocates. And while this June 8 might look a bit different for many of us, there are still plenty of ways to “gather” with our change-making community and help ensure a sustainable future!

Youthathon

Celebrate the weekend before World Ocean Day by attending Youthathon!

“Youthathon” is 24-hour livestream event on June 6 & 7 that allows young people around the world the opportunity to:

  • Learn more about conservation efforts and environmental topics of interest
  • Connect with a global community of young changemakers
  • Join the movement to take action to protect our shared ocean, climate, and blue planet!

Throughout the 24 hours, there will be 24 different sessions with 24 different (but interrelated) topics on conservation, art, plastic pollution, creative writing, storytelling, climate change, marine biology, activism, and more! Hosted by youth-led organizations and environmental experts from around the world, this livestream ensures everyone (in every major time zone) can continue to share, create, and collaborate for a sustainable future this World Ocean Day.
