Por celebrarse el 8 de junio el Día Mundial de los Océanos, la Universidad Estatal Península de Santa Elena (UPSE) con la colaboración del Gobierno Autónomo Descentralizado GAD Municipal del cantón Salinas y la Prefectura de Santa Elena; se unen para celebrar nuestros océanos el 7 de junio mediante un evento presencial, tipo feria titulado “Bioemprendimientos desde los Océanos”. Actividad a desarrollarse por estudiantes de la Facultad de Ciencias del Mar, con el acompañamiento de las Jefaturas de Emprendimiento y Turismo del GAD Municipal de Salinas. La feria contará con la presencia de los siguientes stands:
Adicionalmente, los estudiantes e invitados de la sociedad civil pintaran un mural en honor al océano que rodea a Salinas (Santa Elena), cuyo diseño será el póster del sitio web World Ocean Day, titulado “Happy World Ocean Day poster-Spanish” este mural inaugurará el martes 7 de junio. Y organizaran un concurso fotográfico “El Océano junto a tú mascota” desde la red social de Facebook.
To celebrate World Oceans Day on June 8, “Universidad Estatal Península de Santa Elena UPSE” with the collaboration of the “Gobierno Autónomo Descentralizado Municipal de Salinas” and “Prefectura de Santa Elena”; join to celebrate our oceans on June 7 through a fair titled “Bioemprendimientos desde los Océanos”. This activity will be developed by students of the Faculty of Marine Sciences, with the support of the Departments of Entrepreneurship and Tourism of the Municipal Government of Salinas. The fair will have the presence of the following stands:
– Registration table “Action for Conservation”.
– Chef “Products of the Sea”.
– Demonstration table: “The oceans and you”.
– Projection: “Our oceans and seas”.
– Local enterprises (Reuse, recycle, recover sea products in new alternatives for economic reactivation in the canton of Salinas).
Additionally, students and guests from civil society will paint a mural in honor of the ocean surrounding Salinas (Santa Elena), whose design will be the poster of the World Ocean Day website, titled “Happy World Ocean Day poster-Spanish” this mural will be inaugurated on Tuesday, June 7. And they will organize a photo contest “The Ocean with your pet” on the social network Facebook.
